Highlights of Pokhara to Jhinu Danda

  • City-to-Mountain Trek: Begin in Pokhara’s lively lakeside and, after only a few hours, find yourself in the peaceful hillside village of Jhinu Danda. This is the fastest way to exchange city amenities for mountain peace without a mid-route overnight stopover.
  • Himalayan Views of Method: As you go up in the Jeep, the scenery transforms from rolling farmland and river valleys to expansive vistas of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre. The higher you go, the more spectacular the views become — so be ready with your camera.
  • Hot Springs Gateway: Jhinu Danda is famous for its natural riverside hot springs along the Modi Khola. The hot springs are within walking distance from the village, so this route is perfect if you’d prefer to start your trek with a soak or utilize them before proceeding.
  • Scenic Off-Road Adventure: The journey starts on the paved Baglung Highway and then changes to a bumpy mountain road that winds up the Modi Khola valley. Curvy roads, tiny bridges, and close-up observations of terraced rice fields and Gurung villages exist.
  • Private Comfort: Your group’s Jeep means you control the leaving time and pauses. Whether a tea stop in a riverside village, photographing a mountain vista, or a break to walk about, the schedule is entirely up to you.
introduction

Introduction of Pokhara to Jhinu Danda Jeep

Private 4×4 Jeep transfer straight from Pokhara to Jhinu Danda, avoiding the hassle of taking crowded buses, multiple vehicle changes, or a long day of walking. Only 3–4 hours will find you climbing nearly 1,000 meters in elevation, traveling a mix of asphalt roads, dirt roads, and bouncy mountain paths.

Along the way, you’ll pass green hillsides, rural farmland, suspension bridges, and fast-flowing rivers — all part of the classic Annapurna region scenery. The service is ideal for trekkers beginning the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek from Jhinu Danda instead of the lower trailheads and travelers heading straight to the hot springs for a short break in the mountains.

With your Jeep, you have your comfort, space for your gear, and the security of an expert driver who understands the road’s obstacles and charms.

Itinerary of Pokhara to Jhinu Danda Jeep

  • Pokhara to Nayapul (Approx. 1.5 hours): Kick off the day with a leisurely drive on Baglung Highway. The highway is excellent and smooth, winding through farms, rivers, and villages as you say goodbye to the Pokhara Valley. The Modi Khola river appears in view as you drive deeper into the hills.
  • Nayapul to Syauli Bazaar (Approx. 1 hour): Turn off the highway and begin the off-road segment. The gravel track narrows, winding along the riverbank. You’ll pass through Birethanti and cross small bridges while gaining gradual elevation.
  • Syauli Bazaar to Siwai (Approx. 1 hour): The climb becomes steeper, with switchbacks carved into the hillside. Expect bumpy stretches, occasional rocky patches, and views of terraced rice fields and village life.
  • Siwai to Jhinu Danda (15–20 min walk or short drive): Depending on road conditions, the Jeep may reach the village edge. If not, you’ll be dropped at Siwai or a nearby point for a short uphill walk into Jhinu Danda, crossing a suspension bridge with the sound of the Modi Khola below.
